New Zealand’s biggest harbourside celebration of rainbow diversity is back!

The 2017 Big Gay Out is brought to you by Ending HIV. We can end new HIV transmissions in New Zealand by 2025 by continuing our love for condoms, testing more often, and embracing new tools.

Direct from the US, this year’s headline artist on the Durex Main Stage is acclaimed singer and songwriter Parson James!

An amazing line-up of local acts includes Openside, Lavina Williams, Jimmy Moore & Cas.D, ANJI, Charlotte Yates, Buckwheat, Miss Ribena, Suzanne Paul, Aziz Sa’afin, Cindy of Samoa and more!

The Big Gay Out Marketplace will feature more than 100 stalls, with information, locally produced and specialty products, and an abundance of food, snacks and refreshments.

The Dance Zone returns with more space, a larger bar, more platforms to dance and more performances. The legendary Urge Bear Garden is also back with a big bar and shady chill-out zone. Bar areas are R18.

Catch the air-conditioned Family Bar Party Bus to Coyle Park and avoid the hassle of finding a car park. The Party Bus will shuttle back and forth from Family Bar, stopping at the corner of Williamson Avenue and Ponsonby Roads, every 20 minutes from 11.30am to 8.00pm.

The Ending HIV Big Gay Out is organised by the team at the New Zealand AIDS Foundation. Please make sure you donate on the day!
