All-Stars Gala Fundraiser

Aroha ’17 Festival of Ideas

Saturday 18 February, 8pm 2017

Halo Bar & Restaurant  48 Greys Avenue, Auckland City
Note: this event took place during the 2017 Auckland Pride Festival. See aucklandpride.org.nz for the 2018 Festival.

For one night only, New Zealand comedy, pop music and cabaret giants come together to raise money for suicide prevention at mid-town’s hottest new restaurant and nightclub, Halo.

Enjoy an evening of entertainment, laughs, sing-a-longs, dinner and cocktails, starring Megan Alatini, Mike King, Mika Haka and friends.

Mike King is a comedy legend, with a sly political savvy that will have you in fits of laughter.  Megan Alatini’s sultry vocals will bring the room to a standstill.  Mika will be premiering music from his new album Swimming with Sharks, with guest dancers Zouk Art.

From TrueBliss to The Nutters Club, these seasoned entertainers will put their celebrity to good use to raise funds for the important suicide prevention programmes of Mike and Mika’s two charities – Key to Life and Mika Haka Foundation.

Start the evening with a complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival, enjoy the cabaret performances, then dance and party the night away.

Halo will also have dinner booths and private rooms available, with a portion of all bookings going to charity.
